Here's a secret: Even your teachers don't know everything! I know, weird right? You mean we are not all-knowing human beings? No, we are not! We all get stumped once in a while - for me it is usually when a student asks me a really great question that I don't know the answer to. So when I don't know something, the first thing I do is look it up on Google and see what I find out. When you also inevitably get stumped along the way, just look up the concept online and see what you find. Here are a few specific websites that might help!

KHAN ACADEMY --- https://www.khanacademy.org/
There are so many math concepts on this website that you can search for. You can type the title of our lesson directly into the search bar, or scroll through your options under "Subjects". The great thing about this website is that it offers short instructional videos, so it's not like reading a textbook in order to understand, you can actually watch someone work out a problem.
FREE MATH HELP --- https://www.freemathhelp.com/index.html
This website offers explanations on a variety of topics, just click on the one you want to explore and go for it! Most of the explanations are written in an understandable way and provide worked out examples.
PURPLE MATH --- http://www.purplemath.com/
This website offers more of a textbook description about topics, but that can be helpful if you are having trouble understanding from your own textbook. Just type the concept into the search bar and see what you find.
MATH IS FUN --- https://www.mathsisfun.com/
The "fun" thing about this website is that it is set up like a children's textbook, which makes it super easy to understand and keeps it entertaining with fun pictures and colored text. Just click on a subject from the top menu bar, or type something into the search engine, and use the simple explanation to help you understand better. The descriptions also offer many links to similar concepts if you get confused along the way. (Not as helpful for Advanced Math students)
